Hi there my names Carl Greenhow and
i fly in the oddfellows homing society over in Sunderland,I also fly in
the Sunderland premier federation,tyne & wear up in the Northeast of
England.I started with racing pigeons in 2003 and have never been so
hooked on a hobby as much as this in all my life.I also love fishing too
as most of my family are fishing mad.My pigeons come from mainly R EVANS
& SON who fly in high southwick over here in Sunderland,i also
purchased some birds from the GGB team,Graham,Gilchirst & Brennan
over in Boldon,these birds are showing good signs as already breeding
winners the first year i owned them.I have some other strains from my
lofts previous owner mainly staff van reets and these birds have held
there own against everything i have introduced into my loft,infact they
beat most of my introductions week in week out,there is one bird that
stands out in my stock loft and i did get him for free,my good mealy
cock giving to me by my brother Gary Greenhow as a gift this cock has
bred many prizes at club,fed and combine level,i will get round to
listing his results shortly.

Here is a daughter of my mealy cock,she was 2nd club,2nd fed,only beat
by my brother Gary for the fed by 1 second,she is a cracking bird that
will breed the goods,im 100% she will breed them to score.
When i first started in pigeons i was given this and that from
everywhere,but hey you have to start somewhere,and this is where i got
my best birds to date.
This is my no 1 stock hen blue and white hen NEHU 2001 2936 what a
cracking hen,she is breeding them to score at all levels,club,fed and
combine last year a son of 36 scored 2nd club 2nd fed,21st unc ,she has
bred to date 2x1st,3x2nd,1x3rd,3x4th,1x6th club,federation and good
section positions too.

Camerons lad has 2x1st,3x4th1x6th,23rd section etc.Camerons lads full
brother ch cock 1707 has 2 x 2nd club,beat of loft mate both times,he
also has a 21st unc 6500+birds.Camerons lad was my first ever 1st prize
winner,he won my first ever youngbird race i compleated in and he also
won the following week too.

Camerons lad was someting special to me,always a favorite in my eyes,,in
the end i lost him from a very funny race from Melton Mowbray only 150
miles to my loft,the day i lost him was the worst race i have
experienced,still to this day i wonder what went wrong,i sent 20 birds
to a 150 mile race from melton mowbray,i only had 2 on the day,yes from
a 150 mile race only 2 birds from 20 on the day,the only one that never
made it home in the end was Camerons lad,Gutted as this pigeon went on
to breed good pigeons.
Next bird is the one i call the poser,this pigeon is simply a poser but
also breeds the goods,he bred me a fed winner 1st nest and is now
responsible for 3 x 1st also 2nd section 4 of the unc.

Gift bird from Dempster son and gson her dam had 2 x 1st from
huntingdon,180 miles and Clermont 320 miles,Dempster son and gson are
top flyers from the oddfellows club winning the club averages in
2003,this partnership helped me obtain the best birds and give me all
the advice i needed to win at club and fed level,these birds have won
every year i have been in the sport,
